Halloween 2009

We had a great time trick or treating last night with our friends the Hagers. Luke and Laney were chefs (thanks Aunt Susan) and their friend Landon was a golfer. Audrey was a cute glow in the dark skeleton baby.

Audrey Lynn was born on Saturday morning. She and Natalie are now home and doing great. Luke and Lane are enthralled with their new "babieee".

18 Month Photos (Better late than never)

Below is a video of the Luke and Lane's 18 month photos from June. Took a little longer than I intended to get them up on the blog. The kids are growing up fast and everyone is ready for baby Audrey to join us soon.

The kids had their recital for their Kindermusik class last weekend. Video Below.




We also went to Disney this week. It was hot, but everyone (including my beautiful wife) did great and had lots of fun. Video below.

Long time in between posts... but everyone is doing great. Luke and Laney are running around
and picking up new words everyday. Natalie is doing good other than a sore back. She hit 24 weeks on Friday and "Baby C" is doing great.

We're Back!

Sorry for the long hiatus. Things have been busy in the Douglas household. Laney, and finally Luke are both walking. They now enjoy furniture moving, the wires behind the entertainment center, rolling on the dog's bed, saying hello on imaginary phones, being read to, and their kindermusic class on Thursdays. Laney is sweet and comes over to you to be held every so often. Luke loves to wrestle and laughs like it is his job.

They are growing up. It has been sad, but cool. But our blog was more aptly named than we realized and (for those of you who don't know) we found out in early January that we are expecting and are due sometime in late August. Surprise!!! for us. Very cool, and Luke and Lane will be awesome older siblings. Enjoy some of their recent antics in the video below.

Birthday Party

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, but we have plenty to post today. On Tuesday, it will have been one year since two of the coolest people arrived on this earth. Below is some video from a small birthday party we had yesterday to celebrate.

9 Months Old

Luke and Lane turned 9 months old today. They are really moving and scooting. The video below is of some photos we took outside last week and some video of the kids scooting around and laughing.*

August 2008

August has been a time of more changes... Both Luke and Lane are sitting up, scooting around on their bellies, rocking on their hands and knees and quite captivated with what their voices can do. Laney cut her two bottom center teeth and Luke is still working on his. We have moved into the season when you get nervous when they are quiet for too long, as is illustrated by the photos of Luke matting all the hair on half of Lane's head by chewing on it and the photos of Lane pulling DVD's off of the entertainment center. I know, this is only the beginning...

Long time no blog. Sorry about that. If it helps, my lawn shows the same neglect.

Luke and Lane have gotten so big. They are having lots of fun and are moving so much they should be crawling soon.
